July 27, 2007 – The latest updates are in from the UCI and as widely expected, Langley, BC’s Svein Tuft (Symmetrics) is still leading the UCI America Tour and will continue wearing the distinctive white leader’s jersey.
After a solid July, Tuft now has 234 points, with a comfortable lead over Argentinian rider Alejandro Borrajo with 186 pts. The S-Team also has four riders in the top 32 – Tuft, Cam Evans, Christian Meier and Andrew Randell. With all those riders on the leaderboard, it’s no surprise that Symmetrics is also leading the team competition – the S-Team has a very healthy lead, with 583 points, over the Brazilian Scott team, with 472.
