July 08, 2013 — TUF Rack Racing will host the first Ontario enduro mountain bike race at Horseshoe Resort on August 24th and 25th. This race event will feature a four-stage format, combining XC style climbs with DH rugged descents. Results will be calculated from the racers overall time. The TUF Rack Ontario Open Enduro race will be raced over four individual stages with a combined timing for the overall results. Each stage will offer an access road climb followed with a downhill designed descent. All downhill course features will offer a “ride-around” option for all racers. Overall timing will be adjusted based on average climbing time designated for each stage climb. Available race categories for both men and women are Squirt, Cadet, Junior, Sport and Expert.

All racers are required to wear a helmet and have two functioning brakes on their bikes. It is recommended that racer’s wear additional protective gear including knee pads and eyewear etc.

Horseshoe Valley Resort, located just north of Barrie, has been the host venue for a number of TUF Rack Racing events. All information related to directions and accommodation can be found at the Horseshoe Resort.
