May 22, 2006 – The final Tri-Peaks Challenge Stage 3 delivered its
promise to bring on the pain as riders climbed Mt. Nebo under hot
Arkansas skies yesterday. Ivan Stevic (Team Toyota-United Pro)
charged ahead to take the final 135km stage win, but was denied the
overall which was snapped up by Andrew Bajadeli (Jelly Belly).

In the women’s final Stage 3 race, Chram Breon (Cheerwine) soloed to
a brilliant stage victory, while Rachel Heal (Victory Brewing)
maintained her lead winning the overall. Three Canadians riding for
Victory Brewing made the top 10 – Leigh Hobson was 3rd, Tara Ross
placed 9th, and Kirsten Robbins was 10th.
