April 19, 2019 (Walla Walla, WA) – Canada’s Claire Cameron and Holly Simonson from Trek Red Truck Racing p/b Mosaic Homes stole the show finishing second and third overall at the 21st edition of the Tour of Walla Walla in Washington this past weekend.

Simonson took the win on the 69.6km Waitsburg RR on Stage 2 while Cameron, who was guest riding for TRT, was second on the final 101.3km Kellogg Hollow RR and third on stages 1 and 2. Fellow Canuck Maggie Coles-Lyster (Pickle Juice Pro Cycling) in 5th overall won the 60-min Pro 1/2 Women’s Downtown Criterium on Stage 3.

And kudo’s to Ontario’s Chris Ernst of Hewdog Racing who lay claim to the yellow leader’s jersey following the 102.4km Pro 1/2 Men’s Stage 2 Waitsburg RR, and held it for the next two stages finishing fifth overall in the final GC. Fellow Canuck, Nigel Kinney of Langlois Brown Racing, had success as well with a third-place result in the Stage 3 Downtown Criterium, finishing sixth overall in the GC.
