Tour of Turkey Stages 1-4 – Rebellin Leads, Canada’s Meier 15th

April 29, 2015 (Turkey)  – The 51st Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey 2015 is underway and Davide Rebellin (Ita) CCC Sprandi Polkowice is currently leading the GC after four stages. He took the lead with a Stage 3 hilltop win in Elmali by a 7s margin over second place, Kristijan Durasek (Cro) Lampre-Merida. Canada’s Christian Meier (Can) Orica GreenEdge is the lone Canuck in the peloton and is ranked 15th overall.

Andre Greipel (Ger) Lotto Soudal won today’s 132km stage 4 from Fethiye to Marmaris in a pack sprint. Meier was 37th.
