May 3, 2008 (Silver City, NM) — Canada’s Leigh Hobson (Cheerwine Cycling) won the final Stage 5 Gila Monster Road Race today to finish second overall behind Leah Goldstein (Isr) ValueAct Capital Cycling who lives in Kamploops, BC and won the 2008 Tour of the Gila. Fellow Canuck Felicia Gomez (Aaron’s Professional) placed second in the final stage and 3rd overall.

Gregorio Ladino Vega (Col) TECOS Trek won the men’s overall finishing second on the final stage behind Burke Swindlehurst (USA) Bissell Pro Cycling. Will Routley (Can) Symmetrics Cycling place 31st today and 19th overall
