September 11, 2004 – The new Olympic TT champ, Tyler Hamilton (Phonak)has taken the first timed test of the Vuelta, being Victor Pena and Floyd Landis (both USPS). With today’s results, Landis takes the Golden jersey again over Beltran and Hamilton.
