April 29, 2004 – Italy's Stefano Garzelli has taken the second stage of the Tour of Romandie, showing that his preparation for his main goal of the year, the Giro d'Italia, is going well. Garzelli beat his countryman Ivan Basso (CSC) in an uphill sprint. Tyler Hamilton (Phonak) had a good ride, taking seventh. Check out the photos from Cor Vos.
