July 13, 2005 – Due to a glitch our Tour of Austria – Stage 7 Final report did not appear – here’s the report. Jochen Summer (Elk Haus-Simplon) took the final stage of the Tour of Austria, a 130km race from Vienna to Ringstraße. Erik Zabel (T-Mobile) just missed out on the win.

Michael Barry (Discovery) was poised for a top finish in the sprint but was switched by a few sprinters in the final hundred metres and finished 14th, still good enough to keep his Points jersey and sixth overall. Team Discovery also took the team G.C.
