July 20, 2008 — Lauren Ellis (Nzl) Jazz Apple Cycling Team has won the final Stage 2 Peace Arch News Road Race, 80km (8 long laps), today by a huge margin of approx. 4 min. with team mate Ruth Corset (Nzl) Jazz Apple Cycling Team in 2nd and Canada’s Steph Roorda (Can) Giant Bicycles/Team Whistler Canada in 3rd. The men’s 130km (11 long laps and 5 short laps) is underway and will be finished shortly.
