September 19, 2003 – The young Spanish hope, Isidro Nozal (O.N.C.E.-Eroski) has won the flat, 53.3km TT today, and suddenly, many must be wondering if he is still riding “in support” of his teammate Igor Gonzalez De Galdeano. With the win over TT specialist David Millar (Cofidis), Nozal keeps his spot in the lead over De Galdeano by over three minutes, and five minutes over USPS' Roberto Heras, who jumps into third. Canadian Michael Barry had another consistent TT, finishing 32nd. The climbers have their work cut out for them to see if they can chip away at Nozal's lead…
