January 23, 2014 (Juana Koslay, Argentina) – Giacomo Nizzolo (Ita) Trek nabbed the victory on Stage 3 of the Tour de San Luis, 175.8km from Tilisarao to Juana Koslay, getting the jump on Francisco Ventoso (Esp) Movistar and Tom Boonen (Bel) Omega Pharma-Quickstep in the sprint. Canada’s Christian Meier (Can) Orica Greenedge finished 22nd on the stage and still holds third in the GC behind leader Phillip Gaimon (USA) Garmin Sharp and Marc De Maar (Aho) Team Unitedhealthcare.
