May 12th, 2004 – Canada will be well represented at the highly anticipated Tour de L'Aude. This year's edition of the Tour de l'Aude marks its 20th anniversary and the high-ranked 10 stage race takes place Thursday, May 13 to Sunday, May 23.

Canada will have a strong contingent at this year's race and will once again be led by Lyne Bessette. Bessette will look to make history as she tries to become the first three-time Tour de l'Aude Champion but will face tough competition from 2002 and 2003 winner Judith Arndt. Bessette previously won the event back in 1999 and 2001 and was runner up to Arndt last year. Following is the complete list of athletes that will be representing Canada:
