October 9, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – Canadian National team member Dominique Rollin of Quebec rode to a dissappointing 41st place finish out of 44 riders in the Espoirs ITT. Placing 4:38 behind winner Marcus Fothen of Germany, Rollin suffered within the 30.3km time trial course. Talking to CBC after his effort the Canadian Time Trial Champ spoke of his jetlag that he experienced coming home too late from Europe this past week. Rollin also shared his views on the day, “I never found a rhythm on the course and couldn't push the big gears”. Built for power and speed, Rollin will not be riding the road course as the hills are deemed too tough.
