October 16, 2010 (Toronto, Ontario) – Katy Curtis (CMC/Bow Cycle) took the win on Day 1 at the UCI Toronto International Cyclo-Cross in the Elite women’s 40-min, 17.5km race on Saturday over Natasha Elliott (Garneau-Club Chaussures-Ogilvy Renault) in second with Edmonton’s Pepper Harlton (Juventus) in 3rd.

In the Elite men’s 60-min, 28km competition it was Italy’s Davide Frattini (Hudz-Subaru) topping the field with Derrick St. John (Garneau-Club Chaussures-Ogilvy Renault) taking second and Aaron Schooler (Team H&R Block) claiming 3rd.

Steve Proulx (Stevens Racing p/b The Cyclery) won the 24.5km Master 1 Men’s race over Daniel Staffo (Handlebars Cycling Company) in second with Craig Hawkes (The Cyclery) in third.
