April 26, 2019 (Toronto, Ont.) – Toronto Hustle held its 2019 Launch Party on April 17 at Saulter Street Brewery where they officially announced their new roster and partnerships along with their new Women’s Program.
The new squad has already seen several start lines including the Joe Martin Stage Race, their first Pro Road Tour/UCI race of the season, followed by the Alabama Cycling Classic and the Mosport Classic Road O-Cup season kick-off.
“As Toronto Hustle enters our third season, I am more excited and encouraged than ever at what we are achieving together in our cycling community and with the #nextgen of talent,” said Brad Bradford, Co-Founder & Principal, Toronto Hustle.
Basso Bikes, bespoke Italian frame manufacturer, has partnered with the team, as they take on the North American Pro Road Tour for the 2019 season. They may be 7,000 kilometers apart, but both value their local roots and finding ways to make a positive impact.
“Off the bike, we are gearing up for another year of community involvement and new initiatives that I am excited to share with you. Last year saw the #6IXSQUAD mentoring new Canadians, hosting community bike tune ups throughout the city, leading Learn to Ride Clinics, and continuing to push for safer streets throughout Toronto,” added Bradford.
The new Toronto Hustle Women’s Program is about getting more fast women on bikes, and their outdoor rides got underway mid-April. The concept is to bring the women’s cycling community together and lead weekly goup rides organized by women, for all women, regardless of team or club. “Our community will train together, push each other, and get stronger together,” commented Sarah Holmes.
