Toronto Cyclists Union Fundraiser Cocktail and Masquerade on Oct 28 – Discount Ticket Offer

release by Toronto Cyclists Union

October 22, 2009 (Toronto, ON) – The Toronto Cyclists Union is hosting a Fundraiser Cocktail & Masquerade on Oct 28 at the Steamwhistle. The Union is offering a limited time discount ticket offer on tickets bought before Friday, October 23. Molly Johnson, friend of the Toronto Cyclists Union and CBC Radio 2 host, will be performing at the event. Her performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.

If there was ever a time to get behind our city’s most dedicated, and high profile cycling advocates, it’s now. Thanks to the Toronto Cyclists Union, our city’s first member-based cycling advocacy organisation, cycling issues are now most definitely on the map in Toronto.

If you’ve ever cared about improving conditions for cyclists in this city, and about getting bikes properly incorporated into the transportation mix, now is the time to show support for the first member-based group with real traction. Whether or not you have joined yet as a member, the bike union represents your interests as a cyclist. We have some real momentum, and could use your help to keep it going.
