March 18, 2010 (Toronto, ON) – Here’s a look at more new products that were on display recently at the 2010 Toronto International Bicycle Show held at the Better Living Centre, CNE, from Mar. 5-7. The show saw steady traffic through the weekend as cycling fans took in all that’s new for 2010.
2010 BMC Team Machine SLR01
Ciclowerks, the Canadian distributor of Swiss Brand BMC, had the new for 2010 BMC Team Machine SLR01 on display. The top level bike is the choice of BMC team riders including World Champion Cadel Evans, former World Champion Allessandro Ballan, and perennial classics contender George Hincapie. The Team Machine frame weighs in at 860 grams and features BMC’s Tuned Compliance Concept which makes for a comfortable ride despite the frame’s thoroughbred racing pedigree. Specialized Captain CX PRO
A high-end cyclocross performance tire inspired by the harsh, often rain-soaked and muddy racing environments of Belgium, the Captain CX is designed for cyclocross racers who need a tire to traverse the toughest conditions. Its unique fast-rolling tread pattern cleans well and provides great traction in off-camber situations. iGO Electric Bikes
iGO Electric bikes based in Montreal was on hand at the TO Bike Show to unveil their revolutionary Direct Drive electric bikes featuring LI PO batteries, quality components from Shimano, SRAM and Schwalbe as well as a built in GPS unit which provides speed, odometer and programmed way points.
