September 26, 2004 – Belgian rider, Tim Pauwels, died in a hospital in
Aalst today. The 23-year-old cyclo-cross rider ruptured an artery just
before a crash in a race. Pauwels was one of Belgium’s top U23 riders in
the past few years.
