Juen 29, 2003 – Dom Perras (Quebec) is the new National Champion. Nathan O'Neill (Saturn) has taken the overall, followed by his teammate Will Friskcorn (Saturn). Navigators' Mark Walters unofficially won the sprint over Charles Dionne and Eric Wohlberg (both Saturn). Tim Hortons Road Nationals 2003

July 1, 2003 (St. Catharines, ON) – After a fanastic race in downtown Hamilton on June 30, the Tim Hortons Road Nationals 2003 moved to Effingham, ON, to conclude with the Masters, Juniors, and Espoirs road races. The race was staged by the St. Catherines Cycling Club, and held on the torturous Pelham circuit which features a tough climb each lap. Here are the medallists from each race.

Tim Hortons Road Nationals 2003

June 29, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – Saturn's Nathan O'Neill is now riding on his own, after Navigators' Vassili Davidenko has either cracked, or slowed down to help his teammate Mark Walters. There is now a lead group of 25 riders, including Saturn's Eric Wohlberg and Charles Dionne, Quebec's Dominique Perras, USPS' Michael Barry, Atlas Cold/Italpasta's Joe Giuliano, and defending champion Andrew Randell (Jetfuel). The pace has been slow at times, but there has been a flurry of attacks over the past lap…

June 29, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – Dominique Perras is ahead of the chase group with Will Frisckorn (Saturn). Nathan O'Neill (Saturn) still leads the overall, but Perras is now the top Canadian. The next group contains Eric Wohlberg (Saturn), Michael Barry (USPS), Mark Walters (Navigators) and Charles Dionne. They are two minutes behind and Perras is looking strong….

Tim Hortons Road Nationals 2003

June 29, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – Cory Lange (Symmetrics) has now broken away with Saturn rider Will Friskcorn. Nathan O'Neill (Saturn) still leads, but Lange is the lead Canadian. He has a good minute on a chase group with among others, Czeslaw Lukaszewicz (Quebec), Charles Dionne (Saturn), Dom Perras (Quebec). Joe Giuliano (Atlas Cold/Italpasta) is trying to bridge to the Dionne group. Just after that small group is the main group, which is being strung out by Michael Barry (USPS)…

June 29, 2003 – Vassili Davidenko (Navigators) and Nathan O'Neill (Saturn) have a huge lead — at one point over 7 minutes. Behind them is a group of 8 that is about to be caught by a group of 40 that holds all of the Canadian favourites. Canada's Michael Barry (USPS) has been particularly active in the split, as has Eric Wohlberg (Saturn).

June 29, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – The men's race has begun, and there is a break of 8 away already. Some of the notable riders in the break are Vassily Davidenko (Navigators), Antoine Varghese (Atlas Cold/Italpasta), and Darko Ficko (Pavan). There has been a crash, and Bruno Nella (St.Catherines) has gone down…
