June 29, 2003 (Hamilton, ON) – Genevieve Jeanson (Rona-Esker) has just outsprinted Lyne Bessette (Saturn) to take the National Championship!

The two riders came to the line together, and Jeanson just pulled away in the closing metres to win. Sue Palmer-Komar (Genesis-Scuba) takes third.
