April 30, 2010 (London, ON) – The thrills of track racing returns to the Forest City Velodrome in London, Ontario on Saturday night on May 15th at 7pm. The Thunder Pro Cycling Series will again be the featured event on a full night of exciting bicycle racing London’s 16 year old duo of Kris Ovensek (Invita-FCV) and Daniel McKenzie-Picot (CoachChris.ca) will battle it out in the Thunder Pro events on the evening.  

Ovensek has a 2-race winning streak on the line and will face tough challenges from Ontario’s best Elite athletes. In addition to the sprint competition, the endurance racers will have their chance to shine in three other events, The fan favourite event Madison will feature a mix of competitors in a 20-minute marathon – the top FCV endurance racers will compete in a 100 lap event that will definitely be decided by the strongest.  The last event of the evening is designed to make the racers lungs explode in a “will it ever end” pursuit.

Pre-registration for the event is on the OCA website.  The prize list for the event is over $500 (depending on entries). This event is open to all track racers in Ontario and United States.

Adult admission is $10.00, Seniors $5.00… kids are always “FREE”.
