July 16, 2004 – A message to Keith Bruneau: Just a little informal email to let you know that, on behalf of all the “kids” (Alena, Chris, Jenny, Eric, etc.) the weekend was a lot of fun, fantastically organized, and a great success. I have lost count of the amount of gratitude quietly extended to you from my racing peers for all your work and time donated to the event, even going so far as to skip your own racing efforts. I think with such success the event should continue to draw a solid field in the following years. And as a side note, should you continue to pursue similar event organization, I would, as a sponsor, wholeheartedly support your efforts.
