June 19, 2010 – Although rain was forecast fine weather blessed the 15th annual North Shore Credit Union Test of Metal, 67km, won by Catharine Pendrel (Luna Pro) and Geoff Kabush (Maxxis-Rocky Mountain) – Kabush set a new course record in 2:29:25. In the women’s race Sandra Walter (Local Ride) was second and Catherine Vipond (Norco) was third. Wendy Simms (Kona), who recently became a mom, was back in the mix in fourth with Brandi Heisterman (Northlands Medical Clinic Team) in fifth.

In the men’s race Kris Sneddon (Kona) placed second while Marty Lazarski (Rocky Mt. Factory XC-Epic Racing) was third, Cory Wallace was fourth and Matt Hadley (Xprezo) took fifth.
