August 15, 2012 (London, ON) – The FCV Memorial 6Day bicycle races at the Forest City Velodrome are 7 weeks away and the FCV is still looking for 3 “A” madison teams to compete in the first 6day bike race in Ontario in 4 years.

The prize purse is estimated to be very close to $5,000.00 and could go higher depending on the number of spectators that will attend the event.

The FCV 6Day starts Thursday night Oct 4th – Sat Oct 6th, then continues Thursday Oct 11th – Sat Oct 13th. The “A” 6day will feature 2 Madisons plus miss and outs and scratch races each night for the finest track racers in the country. With the Olympics ending we have seen a surge in the number of riders who want to come and learn how to ride the FCV and get involved with track cycling.
