June 29, 2007 (Vancouver, BC) – Team Pedal-Specialized is preparing for the the inaugural BC Bike Race, the Pacific Traverse, a 7-day, 500km+ mountain bike stage race from Victoria to Whistler, July 1-7.

Team Pedal-Specialized consists of Barry Lyster and Steve Devantier, two local Vancouver riders, who are stoked to participate at this epic ride and bring you daily updates from this fabulous adventure.

This high-profile, inaugural event will draw 100’s of riders in teams of 2 to 4 from all over the world to challenge some of BC’s best off-road cycling terrain.
