June 22, 2006 – Six BMX athletes and Team manager Nicky Pearson are off to Airdrie, Alberta Thursday to represent Ontario at the UCI International BMX Race this weekend. This race is extremely important for the Jr. and Sr. Elites hoping to make the National Team and for the experts hoping to qualify for the 2007 UCI BMX World Championships in Victoria, BC.

Ontario riders are:

-Tyler Simpson Jr. Elite Male
-Chance Herrington Expert

Also accompanying the team, but sidelined with an injury is Jr. Elite Chris DaSilva.

Next up for Team Ontario is the UCI International Race in Crabtree, Quebec on July 8th and 9th and then the National Championships on August 28th in Abbotsford, BC.
