March 7, 2003 – The International Cycling Union announced the suspension of Team Coast, who cannot participate in any race as of today. The Trade Team I had been registered under certain conditions, one of them being to prove the payment of salaries to riders and staff every month. Pending fulfillment of this condition, the team is suspended. Riders of Team Coast currently participating in the Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia are authorized to finish the event.

L'Union Cycliste Internationale annonce que l'équipe. Team Coast a été suspendue, et n'est donc plus autorisée à participer aux compétitions à partir d'aujourd'hui. Ce GS I avait été enregistré sous certaines conditions, notamment l' obligation de fournir la preuve du paiement mensuel des salaires des coureurs et des autres membres de l'encadrement. Cette condition n'ayant pas été remplie à ce jour, la suspension de l'équipe aura effet jusqu'à la régularisation complète de la situation. Les coureurs de Team Coast actuellement engagés dans la Vuelta Ciclista a Murcia sont autorisés à terminer l'épreuve.
