May 23, 2003 – Following the suspension of Team Coast last 9th of May 2003 and following subsequent developments which caused all riders of this TT to leave, thus suspension of its activity, the International Cycling Union announces the registration of the Bianchi Trade Team. Following the Professional Cycling Council's previous principle agreement on the registration of this TT, the UCI has revised the file presented by this company. The independent legal and financial structure of the Bianchi Team, the willingness to commit to cycling for the next few years, the fact that this TT is welcoming the whole of the riders and staff from Team Coast wishing to join it, as well as the economical warrantees provided, have enabled the UCI to approve the integration to the Top Clubs as they prove satisfactory to all regulation-aspects. In result of this decision, Team Bianchi detains, as of today, all rights of participation to races on the international calendar, and rights in general linked to a TT Top Club status.

le 23 Mai, 2003 – Après la  suspension du Team Coast du 9 mai 2003, et suite aux développements ultérieurs  de la situation qui ont provoqué le départ de tous les coureurs de ce GS et la  cessation de son activité, l'Union Cycliste Internationale annonce  l'enregistrement du Groupe Sportif Team Bianchi.

Après l'avis de principe  favorable sur l'enregistrement de ce GS exprimé en première instance par le  Conseil du Cyclisme Professionnel, l'UCI a étudié en profondeur le dossier  présenté par cette société.

La structure juridique et financière totalement  indépendante de Team Bianchi, sa volonté de s'engager dans le cyclisme pour  plusieurs années, le fait que ce nouveau GS a accueilli l'ensemble des coureurs  et du personnel ayant quitté Team Coast et souhaitant le rejoindre, et les garanties économiques qui ont été fournies, satisfaisant pleinement tous les  aspects réglementaires, ont finalement permis à l'UCI d'approuver son intégration parmi les GS Top Club.
