March 27, 2011 (Apeldoorn, the Netherlands) – Check out this conference call with Canada’s Tara Whitten, of Edmonton, Alberta, who earlier today won the GOLD medal in the women’s Omnium event at 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, successfully defending her title. The talented rider is also the 2011 World Cup Omnium Champ and ended her 2011 track season in style. Earlier in the fall, Whitten also won four medals at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India in both road and track events.
