May 13, 2004 – In the Siemens mobile Cannondale mountain bike home race, the Sunshine Cup at Nalles, Italy, Roel Paulissen notched up his second consecutive race victory after Paola Pezzo in Garda last week. Fredrik Kessiakoff followed close behind to take second place.

Paulissen : “On the second lap Marco Bui had a problem with his rear wheel and from then on, I had to set the pace alone for seven laps. It was a good race though and great to have Fredrik [Kessiakoff ] with me on the podium.”

Kessiakoff : “I am pleased with this result. I'm working on my form, so that I can fulfill my objectives to be in  top 20 in the World Cup.”
