April 30, 2005 – Water brand Suio has come on board as the official supplier to the first ever Visa Paralympic World Cup in Manchester.

Suio will provide the water for all 344 competitors at the event, which takes place at venues throughout the city from May 12-15, 2005.

Antonio Vezza, managing director of Suio, says, “Optimum water intake is essential when exercising so we at Suio Natural Mineral Water are delighted to support the inaugural Visa Paralympic World Cup in our capacity as official water supplier.

The Suio deal was brokered by Fast Track, which is organizing the Visa Paralympic World Cup along with the British Paralympic Association.

“It is a real boost to the Visa Paralympic World Cup that another major brand such as Suio has decided to support the event in its first year,” says Mark Richardson, Fast Track sales manager.

Four events will make up the Visa Paralympic World Cup: athletics, track cycling, wheelchair basketball, and swimming.

Other commercial partners are EDF, Seiko, Group 4 Security, Ricoh, The Times and the Manchester Evening News.
