April 23, 2004 – SUPER encourages younger riders who have only raced in small events to experience an event at a provincial level. This is achieved by giving younger riders the experience of racing one (1) Mountain Bike Cross Country Ontario Cup race free of charge. How cool is that?
Who can race? Any under seventeen-year-old (U17) Citizen Permit holder who did not earn at least one (1) O-Cup point in 2003.
Where can they race? Any 9:00 a.m. XC race of any MTB Ontario Cup race in the appropriate age category.
Process Simply go to the OCA table at registration with your Citizen Permit and ID (ID can be in the form of birth certificate, student card, etc.). An OCA representative will verify your eligibility. Your coupon will be verified to take to the registration table to enter the race, free of charge. It's that easy!
This program would not be available without the generous support of Sugoi. The OCA thanks Sugoi for its dedication and commitment to youth cycling.
