December 23, 2005 – Holiday cheer has come early for Pedal with some fantastic news – the legendary Steve Bauer of Fenwick, Ontario will be joining Pedal Magazine as a featured columnist next season with “Bauer Power”. Bauer joins the Pedal peloton which includes two of Canada’s top cyclists, Alison Sydor and Michael Barry.

Steve will pen columns for Pedal readers about his re-entry into the racing world with Team R.A.C.E (formerly Gears). The former yellow jersey wearer, Classics star and Olympic medalist will be joining the crew in the New Year.
