May 09, 2013 – Steve Bauer and Graham Fraser of Centurion Cycling have decided to join forces to work together in the best interests of cycling in Ontario. Both men have long-term experience and assets which will certainly complement each other in the creation of some great initiatives for the sport in the province, in Canada, and for participants of Centurion Cycling.
The CanFondo event scheduled for September 7, 2013 will transition and be hosted at the Centurion Blue Mountain September 14-15, 2013. A new category at Centurion Blue Mountain is launched as the “Steve Bauer Yellow Jersey Experience”. These participants will be provided with a high level of service including multiple quality benefits as registrants of this category. The charitable mandate of the yellow jersey experience will continue as raising funds for the capital campaign of the Milton Velodrome.
Graham Fraser commented, “I have been a big fan of Steve since my early racing years. After some initial meetings we both realized that our vision and objectives were identical. We both want to bring the cycling and fitness experience to the masses. We also want to develop great young riders for Canada. Steve has so much knowledge and we look forward to passing that on to each and every rider.”
Steve Bauer added, “It is a really positive decision to work with Graham and Centurion Cycling. I am happy to be able to align with Centurion Cycling in order to meet initial goals and ensure the experience for all participants will be second to none. The future initiatives are exciting.”
