May 26, 2006 – Bicycle Racing in Vancouver’s Backyard!

Stanley Park Criterium – Saturday, June 17th, 8.30am to 12:00 noon. Vancouver’s most scenic race, the Brockton Criterium, part of the Stanley Park Bike Festival, is a little over 3 weeks away. It’s also one of Vancouver’s most accessible races, and some would say its most exciting to compete in. It’s also one of the most easy going, as it often becomes a day out in the park for racers families

With the Provincial Road Championships the next day, we decided to show our support for the regular guys and gals who train and race and work or go to school. So no cat 1s. The men’s cat 2&3s are the feature race and will race under – hopefully – blue skies in front of – hopefully – thousands of mad cycling fans there for the Stanley Park Bike Festival.

So I’d encourage you to sign up on Karelo and make the Brockton Criterium a part of your season.
