July 23, 2012 (Squamish, BC) – The 2012 Squamish Gearjammer took place in Canada’s Outdoor Recreation Capital on Sunday. The revised 48km course saw the addition of more singletrack, which was naturally a hit with participants. In the overall women’s competition, Sandra Walter (Xprezo-Borsao) grabbed the top podium spot, while local pro Neal Kindree (Specialized-EMD Serono) logged the overall best time, finishing the popular point-to-point race in 2:26:22.4.
