November 4, 2003 – Nominations for the Sport BC 2004 Athlete of the Year Awards close on Friday, 28th November, 2003. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2004 Sport BC Athlete of the Year Awards. This program recognizes outstanding achievement in sport, not only by high-level athletes, but also coaches, volunteers, teams and officials.

In 2003, two Cycling BC members were recognized in a prestigious ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, with World Champion Roland Green winning the Male Athlete of the Year category, and Escape Velocity / DEVO club official Ted Ritter receiving a Volunteer of the Year award for his outstanding contribution to amateur cycling.

Nominations for the 2004 Awards program close on Friday, 28th November, 2003. The ceremony will be held on March 9, 2004.
