January 24, 2011 – North America’s largest 24 Hour Mountain Bike Festivals are filling up quickly with the Solstice already at 50% capacity. Solstice team captains who register prior to January 31st will receive a limited-edition 24 Hour Summer Solstice cap and cycling socks. These exclusive items will not be available for purchase at the event and are available only to team captains who registered early. A $150 deposit is all that is required to hold your spot. Serviced sites are still available for the next 9 teams registered for the Hot August Nights.

Trail upgrades continued last fall at Albion Hills Conservation Area. The trail grants have immensely improved the flow, sustainability and weather resistance of both the double and singletrack trails. The event courses have never been more enjoyable for riders of all abilities.

Our Shimano Youth Races presented by the Ontario Cycling Association are considered some of Canada’s most successful youth events. These free races have their own race course, participation prizes and a Kid’s Zone for after the event. Chico’s 24 hour festivals are family-friendly for riders of all ages and ability levels, and make a great weekend escape.
