July 30, 2007 — Iban Mayo Diez (Spa) Saunier Duval-Prodir, who just finished 16th at the Tour de France which ended yesterday, has tested positive for EPO following a test on July 24, which was a rest day at the Tour. According to the team’s website they were notified by the UCI and have suspended the 29-year-old Mayo until his B sample is tested and will terminate his contract if it confirms the positive test.
