November 12, 2010 – The Southern Cup Race #5 Cyclo-Cross Race at Hardwood Ski and Bike is part of the Southern Cup Series and the course is approximately 2.75kms per lap in length that offers a great mix of the terrain features at Hardwood. There are fast sections of grass and double track, combined with numerous technical and twisty sections. Also expect 1-2 barriers, 1 stair run-up and some fast sections in the woods.

There are many great viewing spots and spectator admission is free.

We have 80km of mountain bike, 74 kms of cross country and 18 kms of snowshoe trails. November 4, 2010 (Hardwood Ski & Bike, ON) – On Sunday, November 14th, Hardwood Ski & Bike is pleased to host the 5th stop in the Southern Cross Series. Hardwood Ski and Bike is a short 15 minute drive north of Barrie, Ont. For further information and directions go to www.hardwoodskiandbike.ca.

Registration opens at 8a.m on Nov.14th and closes 30 minutes prior to each race start. The course will be open for pre-riding from 1-4p.m on Nov.13th. The cost to pre-ride is $5 and there is no charge for racers that are pre-registered. The course will also be open for pre-riding after 8a.m on Nov. 14th.

Entry cost is $30 pre-reg/ $35 day of and $20/$25 for Junior and under 17yrs. You may enter online on the OCA website up until 11:59 am Friday, Nov 12th, or by calling the main desk at Hardwood Ski and Bike (705-487-3775 ).
