August 21, 2009 (Sidney, BC) – More than 50 cyclists showed up for the Tuesday Night Time Trial hosted by Sidney Velo on August 18th. Warm temperatures and virtually no wind had everyone hoping for a fast time. Tuesday’s race was also the 3rd of 4 Time Trials that count for points in the Victoria Cycling League’s season long competition. With only 3 more races to go in the series each point is hard won.

When the dust settled the A race was won by Emile De Rosnay (OrganicAthlete) in 23:18 followed closely by Craig Richey (Blue Competition Cycles) in 23:32. Third went to Aaron Bremner (Schwalbe) in a time of 25:00.

The B race saw Peter Lawless (Tripleshot Cycling) winning a second Time Trial in a row with a time of 25:08. Second went to Duane Martindale (IRC) in 25:39. Rounding out the B podium was Michael Stoehr (IRC) in third with a time of 25:46.

The warm night saw other impressive performances including personal bests set by both Dave Shishkoff (OrganicAthlete) and Roland Rabien (Tripleshot Cycling).
