March 24, 2012 (Italy) – Ryan Roth of Team SpiderTech powered by C10 ended the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali on a strong note, riding his Argon 18 E-118 to 13th place in the 14.3-km Stage 5 time trial.

Roth’s time was just 29 seconds slower than that of the winner, Jan Barta of NetApp, who also won the race overall.

SpiderTech-C10’s David Boily also had a strong ride, finishing 22nd at 38 seconds.

The weather couldn’t have been better for the final stage with sun, little wind and a temperature of 22 degrees. The course also lacked the steep climbs that punctuated the road stages of this tough Italian event.

“With good recovery, the guys will be in very good condition for the upcoming races and they are hungry for that first win of the 2012 season,” said SpiderTech-C10 director Michael Carter.
