Settimana Ciclistica Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali Stages 3, 4 – Cunego and Malori Score, Ulissi Leads GC

March 23, 2013 (Piane di Mocogno, Italy) – Damiano Cunego (Ita) Lampre-Merida won Stage 3 of the Settimana Ciclistica Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali, a 157km race from Zola Predosa to Piane di Mocogno. Mauro Santambrogio (Ita) Vini Fantini-Selle Italia and Matej Mugerli (Slo) Adria Mobil finished second and third, respectively. Diego Ulissi (Ita) Lampre-Merida continues to wear the leader’s jersey.

Former Italian time trial champion Adriano Malori gave Lampre-Merida another stage victory in the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, winning the stage 4 time trial over Anton Vorobyev (Katusha) by 14 seconds. Moreno Moser (Cannondale) was third fastest, 16 seconds behind Malori.

Ulissi continues to lead overall as Canada’s Guillaume Boivin (Cannondale Pro Cycling) is 97th, Will Routley (Can) Accent Jobs – Wanty is 112th and David Boily (Can) Amore & Vita is 126th all working for their teams.
