May 15, 2007 (Monterey, CA) – The Sea Otter Classic is moving from its traditional early to mid-April dates and will take place in early May 2008 – the new dates next year are May 1-4, 2008.

The Sea Otter Classic, which has been running for seventeen years, combines multiple events including Adventure Racing, Super D, NRC Circuit Road Races, Dual Slalom, Downhill, MTB Cross-Country and BMX competitions. The 2007 event took place from April 12-15 at the Laguna Seca Recreational Area and featured 40,000 participants.
