February 06, 2012 – Kyle Douglas, team manager for SCOTT – 3Rox Racing, has confirmed with Pedal Magazine that the team’s application for UCI Trade Team status for the upcoming 2012 season has been approved. Douglas has been involved in the management of the team since 2007 and since that time, SCOTT – 3Rox Racing has evolved into an elite program that also attempts to bridge the gap between the international and national level of racing.

SCOTT – 3Rox Racing plans to focus on supporting their athletes’ aspirations for the London Olympic Games and MTB World Championships by competing on the World Cup circuit and other key races such as Sea Otter, the Canadian MTB National Championships, and select Canada MTB Cup and Pro XCT races. Adding to the mix and diversification of competition in the mountain bike discipline, SCOTT – 3Rox Racing will also be participating in some endurance events such as the Whiskey 50 and Crank the Shield – read more here.
