January 20, 2016 (Toronto, ON) – Over 100 mountain biking fans gathered recently at the Arta Gallery in Toronto’s funky Distillery District to share a glass at the 2016 launch of the Ontario-based Scott-3 Rox professional racing team and also to support their “Road to Rio Fundraiser”. The team is composed of top Canadian athletes multiple Canadian Champion Geoff Kabush, Derek Zandstra, Cameron Jette, and USA women’s Olympic hopeful Erin Huck. We spoke with some these talented athletes to find out what they have planned for the upcoming season. Zandstra was on the new Milton Velodrome track for the first time while Jette is ready to race at the UCI CX World Championships on Jan. 31 in Belgium. Plus, the team is introducing a new Maverix development squad composed of up-and-coming young racers like Liam Mulcahy and Noah Simms.
