April 22nd 2003 (Saint-Georges de Beauce, Quebec) – Yvan Waddell, president
of the Grand Prix cycliste de Beauce, regrets to announce that the American
team Saturn officially decided they will not participate to the 18th
edition of the Grand Prix cycliste de Beauce on June 17 to 22, 2003.

Following a phone call yesterday afternoon, Saturn's team manager Tom
Schuler confirmed with Waddell that they will not be able to make it.
Schuler had indicated that the team would be in need of some recovery time
following the USPRO Championships and also because they will participate in
another race in Minnesota.

Despite the team's decision, Schuler said that Saturn riders, Canadians
Charles Dionne and Ô°ric Wohlberg, will compete in the event as part of
Canada's National Team. This year is very important for Canadian riders to
accumulate points to assure a good Canadian representation at the 2003
World Championships in Hamilton and also for the 2004 Olympics Games.
