July 15, 2003 (Waukesha, WI) – The Saturn Men's Team made Saturn Cycling history recently when they topped the UCI rankings for Tier III teams. Currently leading the 67 teams by 180 points, the Saturn Team is trailed by the Polish Mroz Team in second place. In the 12-year history of the Saturn Team, this is the first time that the men's team has held the number one spot in the UCI rankings as the #1 UCI TIII Team in the World. Currently, the Saturn Team is the only US team in the top ten in the Tier III standings.

On the US home-front, the Saturn Team also leads the US National Calendar Rankings and with a strong lead over their nearest competitors, looks to have the team competition nearly sewn up. The Saturn Team hopes to collect additional UCI and NRC points at the upcoming US PRO Criterium Championships and the T-Mobile San Francisco Grand Prix.
