January 7, 2011 (Saskatoon, SK) – Join Saskatoon Cycles and WAM (We Are Many) for Ice Cycle 2011! Registration is now open for this fun event on January 30 that celebrates active transportation and promotes the incredible resilience of people in Saskatoon. Taking place during downtown Saskatoon’s WinterShines Festival, the event is aimed at promoting cycling in Saskatoon as a year-round activity and mode of transportation. We will have a Winter Cycling Workshop at noon, the Bike Parade at 1 PM, and live music and door prizes at 2 PM.

Following last year’s surprising success with 200 participants, we hope to make this year’s ride bigger and better yet!

Where: Saskatoon Farmer’s Market (Market and Food Vendors will be open)
When: Sunday, January 30 – 12 pm – Winter Cycling Workshop; 1 pm – Bike Parade; 2 pm – Live Music, Dancing, Hot chocolate and Prizes
